Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 supplied and installed from $1,650 inc GST* for a typical single-storey home with a short cable run. Longer cable runs, switchboard upgrades or three-phase work are quoted after we assess your home.
*Indicative price; final price confirmed in your written quote.
The final scope depends on your charger location, cable route, supply and any electrical work required. We assess these details before confirming the price, so the written quote reflects the work at your home rather than an assumed standard installation.
A 7kW charger can suit a single-phase home supply. A compatible three-phase installation can support charging at up to 22kW, provided the vehicle can accept that rate and the charger and circuit are designed accordingly. A higher-rated charger does not mean every vehicle will charge faster: the car’s onboard charging capacity is also important.
Most Melbourne-west homes have single-phase supply, while some properties have three-phase; the supply at your address should be checked rather than assumed. We review the switchboard, main supply and existing household loads as part of planning the installation.
Load management can adjust charger demand in response to other electrical loads in the home. Where the equipment and installation allow it, this helps protect the main switch from overload while making use of the available supply. We will explain the suitable approach after checking your property.

Tesla Wall Connector installed alongside solar for Mohsin in Aintree.
When your car is at home during daylight, compatible charging equipment can use available solar surplus. The amount varies with generation, weather, season and household demand; charger settings and your preferred charging speed also affect how solar is used. We can review your existing inverter and charging goals when considering compatibility.
A home battery can store energy generated earlier and may help cover overnight EV charging, subject to its usable capacity, current charge, household needs and system configuration. We’ll discuss how charging might fit alongside the rest of your home’s energy use rather than assume the battery will cover every journey.
